Service Description

If you are a teacher, child minder, work in a nursery or playgroup, and are responsible for the welfare of the children or infants in your care. Then we recommend this 2-day course. This 2-day course satisfies the criteria as laid down by OFSTED and the Early Years Foundation Stage. Subjects Covered: Responsibilities and reporting Assessment of the situation Dealing with an unresponsive casualty Head injuries Infantile convulsions Eye injuries Heat and cold Sickle cell anaemia Burns CPR Fainting Choking Diabetes Foreign bodies Anaphylaxis Fractures Asthma Meningitis Shock Certification: Practical assessment and multiple-choice question paper. A three-year level 3 award in Paediatric First aid issued to the learner on successfully completing both the practical and theory assessment. Numbers: Maximum of 12 students.
