Level 3 First Aid at Work

Service Description

Depending on your organisations risk assessment for first aid provisions. We recommend the 3-day course if you work in a higher hazard environment (engineering, food processing, warehousing, working with machinery, construction, chemical manufacture) Subjects Covered: CPR and defibrillator Disorders of respiration Adult basic life support Disorders of circulation Wounds and bleeding Seizures Minor burns and scalds Foreign objects Bones, joints and muscle injuries Head and spinal injuries Chest and abdominal injuries Specialised burns Eye injuries Poisoning Anaphylaxis Major illnesses Extreme hot and cold Bites and stings Certification: Practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor over the 3 days, with a written assessment. A three-year level 3 award in First aid at work will be issued subject to successful assessment. Numbers: Maximum of 12 students. Location: Birch House, Mansfield, NG21 0HJ.
