“PUWER98” (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation 1998)

If you are an employer or self-employed and provide equipment for use at work, supervise or manage the use of equipment, or you have control of the use of equipment, then these Regulations will apply to you.
PUWER 98 stipulates any persons using equipment or employees managing users shall provide adequate training in the methods of use, any risks that might be encountered and any precautions to be taken (regulation 9).

Methods of storing, handling and transporting wheels
Methods for testing and inspection for damage
Function of components and the correct method of mounting

Certification:

Practical assessment of pre use inspection
multi choice theory test.
Certification and card valid for 3 years awarded on completion of practical and theory assessment

Numbers:

Maximum of 12 delegates.
